I loved the word ''prescient", and hence this note. The word basically mean "having or showing knowledge of events before they take place".

I came across this article in stanford website, where there is an interview and they talk about the movie HER.

The interesting part was where they talk about how the movie has driven and inspired some of the recent technological developments.

HER actually drove development!!! We assume that cutting-edge tech bleeds into narrative and don't think of it moving the other way. But it absolutely moved the other way!!!

To quote Thickstun, from the same article: "And when scientists need to raise funds, it's actually much easier to do it if uncreative people with money can see a movie about a technology you’re describing. If I come to a VC and I pitch some wild idea, they don't get it. But if someone like Sophie figures out how to write a movie about that technology and then the VC watches the movie, well, they get it."
