I came across this term as I was checking my email notification about research on the keyword photography. I was surprised to see this term but it made sense to me.

The research paper was "Photoethnography as a Research Methodology for Manifestations in Public Space in Times of Revolt"; which made it even more interesting as it mentioned photoethnography as a research methodology.

Here is the link to the paper in Springer.

This phrase quoted in the paper caught my attention," representative dimension of photography and its performative dimension".
