lack of models

This particular phrase "lack-of-models", helped me to navigate through my own emotions during a distressing period. It also allowed me to empathise with the person who rejected me, distanced from me, and borderline ghosted me. I realised that there was no script for her as a rejector. But as a would-be lover, I had lots of script, derived from films, songs and other cultural artefacts.
