write from a place of happiness

Hope.

Today I wanted to write about happiness.

Today I wanted to write about hope. Today I wanted to write about possibilities.

Last month, one morning, we tied the sacred knot on the beautiful sea beach. As the pheras happened, my friend played yellow. I wish I had words to write here what I felt. Somewhere between ecstasy and gratitude, I was brimming with something which I may safely call, happiness. Darwish once said,

"And if happiness visits you again, do not remember its previous betrayal.. Enter into the happiness, and burst!"

There’s a point where all psychoanalysis of all attachment theory and patterns fail, and a voice inside you tells you, go ahead.

As Alok mentioned a few days ago in a piece of writing, “fear is a false prophet who preaches calamity over capacity. be heretical: possibility is your ministry.”

May be I am too naive and young to write about “marriage” today. Someday I will write more profound things about the sacred knot.

As of now let me write about love and joy. There was something in her voice that felt like home. Something in the sound of her laughter that was magical. All the video calls from my tiny room in London will have a special memory in my bank of happiness.

To everyone who could make it to my big day to celebrate with me, you made me feel loved, and that’s a big thing in today’s world.

If a place doesn’t serve you, have the courage to leave. There are places and people waiting to embrace you. Places heal, and so do people, and if you are lucky, they do it in the most beautiful ways. Thank you London.

To quote Alok again, “what would a life that honored all the things you need to feel look like? immigrate there, in exile from repression.”

Heartbreak taught me:

That not every connection is meant to evolve into a relationship. We will attract many people into our lives, and some are only meant to occupy a short chapter. It doesn't mean it wasn't an impactful chapter, but a chapter nonetheless. Letting go of that person doesn't mean we were not meant to know them, or even love them. It just means we accept that their part in our story is over.

A relationship is a mirror that reflects what our inner work is. But there's another mirror that comes with being in the right relationship: it is one that shows us that we are enough.

You're ready for a relationship when you understand that the perfect partner doesn't exist.

Everyone has an inner child, and everyone has baggage. Choosing wisely is choosing to love the one whose baggage doesn't cause you deep suffering.

self worth and

how you learned to attach. If you grew up in an environment where you experienced conditional love or where the fear of not having love was present, the moment you meet someone, you will attach your worth, value and importance to them loving you. Then add that to the fact that you don't meet people you're attracted to often. When you catch yourself doing this, just notice is. Don't try to change anything or shame yourself. Just become aware: "okay I realize i'm placing a lot of meaning into whether or not this perosn loves me".

"I'm willing to have a new perspective on this" "thank you God, Higher Power, Universe for showing me how to set boundaries with this"

People feel best when they're rooted in their bodies, present and engaged with something that's important to them.

It's called a flow state.

When people witness their partner in this state, they see them as independent, radiant, and/or impressive.

This triggers attraction.

This is why we have to continue doing the things that are meaningful to us when in a relationship.
