To make AI truly work, we found ourselves reinventing many of the same principles we learned decades ago at Pixar: story, 3D layout, eye direction constraints, “inverse kinematics”, and the performances of real actors.
Most importantly, every shot is still driven by humans — whether through live acting, puppetry, or keyframe animation — treating AI as the renderer rather than the director.
