Someone would never expect both the terms 'mothering' and 'sexual violence' to appear in the same context, and yet they are. This paper by Noreen Anney Cauley in her paper @trauma-mothering-autoethnography starts the abstract with the line, "Sexual violence and mothering are prevalent events in women’s lives. However, they are not often studied together from a feminist perspective."
