In an interview, I read where Vivek Menon, one of the NID and RCA graduates, told how one should keep refining their portfolio even after the projects are complete. Also, like the part where he tells about the T-shaped experience, where you are a specialist in a particular skill set but have an analogous broad skill set.

to quote him: "Your portfolio is the most important thing, and your work must speak for itself visually. Keep curating and refining your portfolio even after projects are complete. Publicize the work more, and wherever you can, communicate visually."
