how bold one gets

I tried to think of the times when I have made bold courageous moves.
It mostly boiled down to two things, vulnerability and privilege. Good courage is usually a byproduct of vulnerability. Bad courage is a clear byproduct of privilege.
The boldness is pretty much the only major factor that sets the direction of your life. It takes courage to do anything worthwhile.
There are innumerable instances where you witness the bad kind of courage demolishing all the goodness in the society. Be it the over-speeding car, or the sexual assaulter, be it the corrupt politician or the robber on the street, I have often wondered, what gives them the courage to do so? Is it just privilege? Or is the exactly the opposite end of privilege that turns the human a vile out of circumstances.
