I came across this line in a video where 16 skydivers jumped into a water body, breaking their cardinal rule, of having visible eye-contact with the ground. The pilot was wrongly guided by the air traffic controller.

The Federal Aviation Administration FAA rules changed after the incident. But like always, every safety regulation is written in blood.
