I will always remember the day I walked in to your office to share with you about my offer from RCA. Though I was excited about the opportunity, I was very scared about what you my decision. What if you would ask my reasons for leaving NID half way. 

But then you invited me to your office room and we talked in your cabin for a long time, and you never questioned me any reason. Instead you shared about NID’s long association with RCA, suggested me scholarships for the same, including Chevening, Inlaks, Commonwealth, etc. You shared NID alumni contacts in London. My heart was sooo full that day. 🥹 

A year later after I competed my masters I came back NID yo meet you.  I will always remember the beautiful conversation I had with you that day. You made me meet Taniksha,l and shared about more alumni in London. 

The next day you responded to me with the sweetest email ever. I will forever cherish that email. 

To quote a small part of that email that stayed with me, “Your words about feeling at home at NID, despite leaving midway, are deeply touching.

Please know that NID will always be a part of you, and you will always be welcomed back with open arms. Our community is built on a foundation of support and camaraderie, and you will forever be a cherished member of it.”

Your warmth and spirit will always stay with us as well.
