I find your examples of pro tools and digital cameras, disingenuous and shockingly bereft of substance. Those tools did not require mass exploitation of creatives to exist. This is a tired attempt at disguising theft as innovation.

This was a comment on the post by the creative leader of OpenAI where he mentions OpenAI as some sort of a sketchbook where it's a tool just to prototype or make a rough marker sketch. But then this person comments, "This is not just a tool or a digital camera or some sort of a regular invention; it basically requires the exploitation of creatives to exist. It basically requires the mass extraction of data from existing artists' work. That's what makes it different, that's what makes it unethical, that's what makes it a theft disguised as innovation."
