It definitely takes some proactive deprogramming to decouple our identities from our primary source of income.

I think a lot of people bitten by the creative bug will at some point have to sit down and weigh their level of risk tolerance against their willingness to really invest in themselves. There's always something that we lack or that limits us from our ability to bring our ideas to life, whether it's the tools, the skills, or the time. Working within limits and leaning into the lack can definitely be a superpower. It's surprising tbh, the abundance of creative ideas that can come from a place of scarcity.
