I came across Misthi Vidushi Sharma's article a few days ago where she mentioned about the emails she wrote to people and how she designed her career trajectory. It was a lovely article and very insightful one with actionable steps.

I am a firm believer of the fact that career direction can be designed from recurring obsessions.

Take abstract interests and shape them into “job descriptions.” For example, “I care about cities and people’s stories” becomes “create an Atlas Obscura-like travel platform.” “I care about democracy” becomes “start a grassroots storytelling initiative.” “I care about culture and diaspora” becomes “build a company connecting diaspora communities to homeland movements.”
