always capture context and source of a note

It's always important to capture the context of the note and the source of the note. 20 years from now, you would not remember what exactly a fragmented note would mean. Instead, an atomic note where you exactly explain what you understood in brief, and the source to it in a specific format is what would help you get back to it, remember it, find the source again, write more about it, and reference it back in your newly written article.
Also means you have to always keep your ideas modular and do not bury multiple insights in one mega-note. Just write one note or just one fact per note, and then create them as index cards or digital notes that would help you to re-organize, combine, and reference ideas without losing any clarity. So in the end, each note should always represent just a singular nugget of knowledge, which can basically stand on its own.
