I love the line where it says, “Understanding does not equate with reconciliation or repair.” Sometimes we feel that if you understand something, that’s a repair or a reconciliation, but it’s not. You might hear someone say, “I understand you, I am sorry,.” but that’s not really reconciliation or repair.
