the best tool is the one that disappears

One fact I'm very clear on while I teach people about building systems is that if you're spending more time on your note-taking system than on the notes themselves, then the system is the problem. It's important that you spend time on the writing and creative aspects rather than trying to make the system more efficient at every single step.

I read this in an article on Medium called "Talking Tech with Jai," where she mentions Obsidian Peak here, and here's what I am watching instead.
