From a small town in Odisha to Cambridge University.

I’ve been awarded a full bursary to attend the Cambridge Cultural Heritage Data School. I’m raising £1,600 to cover travel and living costs.

✅ Full Bursary Awarded 📅 13–17 April 2026 📍 Cambridge, UK

Why This Matters

I have been offered a fully funded bursary place at the Cambridge Cultural Heritage Data School (CHDS). The tuition fee has been completely waived. The remaining challenge is covering travel, accommodation, and essential living expenses.

The Cambridge Cultural Heritage Data School is an intensive, in-person program focused on experience design, cultural data, and digital humanities. The curriculum explores how data, culture, and storytelling can be transformed into meaningful public experiences.

About the Program

  • Experience design methodologies
  • Prototyping digital & analogue games
  • Interactive performance design & Co-design workshops
  • Worldbuilding in 3D using Blender

This program sits directly at the intersection of culture, technology, design and storytelling — exactly where my work lives.

My Background

I was born and raised in Odisha, India, in a small town. I come from a middle-class family where education matters deeply — and where financial decisions are made carefully.

I hold a Master’s degree in Digital Direction from the Royal College of Art, London, supported by a full scholarship from Apple.

Scholarships like this have paved my path from a small town to world-renowned institutions. In the future, I aspire to pursue a PhD at Cambridge, and the Cultural Heritage Data School feels like the perfect stepping stone to understand exactly what this school entails, interact with mentors, and explore full funding opportunities for my doctorate.

I want to bring in my real-life projects, my South Asian context, the deep-rooted human-ness I share with my local communities, and the stories I carry with me. My goal is to merge these with world-class technologies and social sciences to build amazing products and organizations that truly make people's lives better.
